We Say No, Yet Congress Pushes Forward with Healthcare Reform

Why is it that the more "We the People" say no to government run healthcare, CAP and Trade, granting amnesty to all illegals, the more bills keep getting passed?

Do they realize we WILL vote them out next year? I live in Nevada and Harry Reid is one of my senators. I keep emailing him, phoning him and he  replies with a form letter trying to persuade me that HE KNOW BETTER....this bill is not about healthcare. It is about POWER! Power to people who think they know what is best for me. They want to control what we eat, drink, where to live and work.

The panel to oversee this healthcare plan, is the same panel who just recently decided women no longer needed preventative mammograms until age 50. Are these the type of decisions that will make us healthier? Of course not; they SAVE MONEY. Money to send overseas. Money for barely used airports or any other of the over 500 pork projects they just gave themselves yesterday.

Over 80% of the American people do not want Obamacare. It will hurt seniors the most by taking away their medicare Advantage plans. Without them, the costs for medical care will triple.  The next group to be hurt are the disabled. They want to impose a huge tax on durable medical equipment, like wheelchairs and oxygen. Those costs will be passed on to the people who can least afford it.

What is the big rush??? Why won't they let us read it? The new Manager's amendment that Harry Reid put together has not even been seen by anyone in Congress, yet he wants them to vote on it this weekend. Where is the transparency Obama campaigned on? These bills were constructed behind closed door with virtually no input by Republicans. And, now Reid wants them voted on this weekend; some scheduled for vote AFTER MIDNIGHT! This is dirty, sneaky politics at its best.

I am getting frustrated! Like millions of people, I worked my entire life and was forced to put money into the social security system. Now, when it is time to get MY MONEY back, they trickle it out to me. If I had been able to invest that money, I would be living a  nice retirement. Instead, I can barely pay my monthly bills. There is nothing left over for fancy vacations or evenings out. This is not what I visualized my retirement to be.  Poor, sick and stressed over the economy has led my fragile health to deteriorate rapidly. I suffer from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) and need constant medical care.  The cuts to medicare will be implemented immediately if the healthcare bill is passed.

This needs to stop...........Contact your representatives and senators. Tell them NO...no more higher taxes, no more debt, no more meddling into our business. STOP SPENDING MY MONEY!!!!
